Ayesha Alam   is a  lecturer in Pakistan studies department Hazara university Kyhber Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan. Before this she served as a lecturer in Pakistan Studies Department  Abbottabad University of Science and Technology and  National University of Modern Languages Islamabad.

Pakistan and China are mature and reliable partners from decades. China Pakistan Economic Corridor “CPEC” is one of the remarkable examples of this partnership with around 46 billion investment projects. This huge investment leads me to find out about strong cooperation between Pakistan and China. This book not only gives the reader an overview of bilateral relations but also provides the detailed information about all-weathers friendship.

In this way she have tried to highlight in details Pak-China relations from 1949 to 1999. In second chapter she have tried to highlight Pak-China Defense Cooperation to Trade Communication. Third chapter is about Chinese Investment in Pakistan, Cooperation and Challenges. Last chapter is about impact of Pakistan-China Mutual Cooperation.  On The book launching ceremony Under the Shadow of Himalayas on April 19-2018 held at National Institute of Parliamentary Services Islamabad. Speakers Included Senator Mushahid Hussain Sayed, Federal Minister Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, MNAS Moin Watto, Dr Shizra Manseb Ali Khan Prof.Dr Sakhawat Shah Ex. VC Hazara University Dr.Qayyum sb. It was a largely attended purely academic event
