ISLAMABAD: (By Junaid) Innovate. Educate. Inspire Pakistan organized a special screening of its latest documentary, “3100 Meters Above Sea Level”  in Islamabad on Sunday, 24th February 2019 in Collaboration with FACE.
The documentary sheds light upon the the life in the remote valley of Shimshal, Gilgit Baltistan, where the thirst for knowledge and education exceeds the difficulties faced due to the harsh terrain and weather conditions. It also provides an insight in to how IEI Pakistan aims to implement a School Development Program in the valley in 2019. The documentary has also been screened in Lahore and Karachi earlier this month and received warm reception from the viewers.
Marvi Soomro, the filmmaker behind the documentary and founder of IEI Pakistan, also shared her inspirations behind this documentary as well as the work IEI Pakistan has conducted in remote areas of Pakistan since its inception in 2016.  The documentary will soon be released for public viewing on IEI’s website.
