Hefei, May 28: The voice recognition company iFLYTEK founded in 1999 by a group of students has developed into a leading research institution of China.
A group of journalists from South Asian and South East Asian countries visited the company to witness the marvelous development of Chinese speech and language technology.
In a briefing to the journalists, it was told that the company has become the national key enterprise with artificial intelligent speech and language technologies.
The market value of the company touches 5.5 billion US dollars by having 7000 employees dedicated for the development of advanced research in artificial intelligence.

It was also told that intelligence technology enables machines to listen and speak including speech synthesis, speech recognition and cognitive intelligence.
