Beijing, October 11: Dr Robert Kuhn, the prominent international expert has said that Chinese nation has gained much progress under the leadership of Chinese Communist Party (CPC) by kicking off the historical process of realizing the renewal of the masses.
Ahead of the 19th CPC National Congress, while addressing to the large gathering of Chinese and foreign media professionals here, he said that the Chinese dream invoked by President Xi has made a big impact on the hearts of hundreds of millions of Chinese.
He said that four comprehensives introduced by President Xi were profound doctrinal breakthrough for Chinese nation which includes an agenda of comprehensively build a moderately prosperous society, deepening the reforms, govern the country according to the law and apply strictness in governing the party.
Four Comprehensives are a visionary guide for China’s future which have shown the way forward as this strategic layout incorporates profound strategic thinking.
He said that China respects the international system and paying high attention to play its role in strengthening global governance and providing a quality life to international citizens especially focused on developing and emerging economies.
Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) introduced by president Xi have shown a path of progress to the developing and emerging economies of the world striving for uplifting their GDPs and per capita income, he went on saying.
He also told that BRI have been investing since its launch billions of dollars in various countries to improve the infrastructure, upgradation of railway network, production of clean energy, health, education, science & technology and many other sectors.
He added that BRI was gaining international attention which have become the success of this game changer step by China.
He also added that poverty alleviation program by Chinese leadership have shown marvelous achievements as more than 700 million people have been lifted out of poverty and it looks obvious that the administration will meet the target of diminishing poverty from across the country by the end of 2020.
Dr told that, with its efforts and achievements, China will have many successful stories to share, taking it one step closer to poverty alleviation.
He mentioned that as per the statistics, in the last years, a total of 55.64 million people were lifted out of poverty – an average of 13.91 million people per year resulting in a reduction of poverty incidence from 10.2 percent in 2012 to 4.5 percent last year.
