The multi-lingual literary journal 'Hum Rekaab' begins its publication
PR-Hum Rekaab (literally means The Fellow Rider), the mirror to the multi-lingual literature of Pakistan and China has now appeared in the market, under the auspices of a recently formed literary organization, Pak-Cheen Bazm-e-Adab (Pak-China Literary Association). Sohail Ahmed Siddiqui, a noted poet, writer & journalist is the Founding Editor, as well as the Founding President of Pak-Cheen Bazm-e-Adab. The unique literary journal comprises pen-works of Urdu, English, Chinese and Pakistani languages including Persian, Punjabi, Seraiki, Sindhi, Pushto, Brahvi, Hindko, Khuwar and Shena. The most remarkable feature of Hum Rekaab is the exclusive section on the literary works of Intikhab Alam (Zhang Shixuan), the most prominent Urdu poet of Chinese origin.
The Chinese section of Hum Rekaab highlights the models of Chinese poetry, as well as translations, rendered by Intikhab Alam (Zhang Shixuan), whereas the English portion of the maiden issue of Hum Rekaab includes an exclusive English poem of Bosnia’s world famous poetess, Enesa Mahmi, besides a pertinent article on Ibn-e-Safi, a thought-provoking writing of Abida Rahmani from USA, Munir Niazi’s poem translated by Mrs. Tanveer Rauf and an English poem of Munazza Sahar.
